I'm feeling very sentimental this week. I'm heading back to my old neighborhood to see my best friend from college who's visiting from England for the weekend. It's been a few years since we've seen each other, and even though we talk almost every day (thank you, WhatsApp!) when we get together it's like no time has passed at all. So in honor of visiting ma petite Sylvie, I decided to go back into my old hard drives and pick out some work from school. It's a fun reminder to see how my eye has changed and how I continue to learn from old friends and new.
Below are images from my senior thesis and multiple projects I was assigned during my four years at Parsons. I never realized until now how much my professors pushed me to create concepts for styles that I didn't really understand. It's helped me become a stronger shooter and find different and interesting compositions. Pushing the limits of your comfortability pays off in the long run.
